You’re hurting the effort to fix this city.
-
How so? The congestion surcharge on yellow cabs is punitive and there already was an MTA surcharge on taxi rides.

You do pay for a " chauffeured motor coach". It's called a fare. Imposing congestion surcharge on yellow cabs is punitive plus there already was an MTA surcharge on taxi rides.

Don't carve this up into a meaningless, in name only effort. Congestion pricing should make taxis more profitable by making them more efficient, just like every other commercial vehicle. They should be happy to pay for this benefit.pic.twitter.com/kPfxIfqqCK

Taxis already PAY an MTA fee. You want to fix the city, limit the over 100,000 app cars that were given FREE reign of NYC streets by city regulators. Yes! OVER 100,000!
