What about calling for an exemption for Northern Manhattan residents especially your district that has many drivers.

You're missing the whole point of congestion pricing.

How about the non profits who are delivering meals to people in all five boroughs? This would be devastating

This is terrible and wrong. The entire point of congestion pricing is to discourage the use of low-capacity vehicles in Manhattan. This defeats the purpose.
-
No, the entire reason for congestion pricing is to give money to the abhorrent MTA, who have shown zero inclination in managing money. There should be congestion pricing on vehicles entering Manhattan from NJ & outer Boroughs. Only exemptions are Manhattan-based cars & cabs.

Why? If we want to help taxi drivers, there are ways to do it without increasing congestion, asthma and crashes for everyone.
-
Taxi's are capped and have been decreasing in number because of the overwhelming amount of APP cars. They aren't the ones causing the congestion. If every APP car was painted neon fuschia they would overwhelm the yellow and people might realize just how many of them are swarming.

You’re such a hack. Clearly in the pocket of the taxi industry. No exemptions for anyone. Cabbies can pass the cost of CP to the consumer. No exceptions.
-
What will happen is that cabs won't take fares to airports from Manhattan.
