What are you doing about the 100,000 rideshare cars that have been given FREE access to NYC streets by NYC regulators? Study after study has proved that they are the biggest contributors to congestion as well as pulling people away from public transportation!
I will work w/ @NYCSpeakerCoJo on the transportation master plan, starting by passing the street design checklist bill. Pedestrians & cyclists must feel safe & secure traveling in our urban environment. We must become less car reliant, end congestion. #SOTCADDRESS #VisionZero

Cyclists need to be held accountable for following the rules of the road as well. We have many in bklyn and they fly through lights and signs endangering everyone. It would also be helpful if people were reminded to look up from their phones while crossing!
