As Chair of the Transportation Comm., my priority is safety. As e-bikes & e-scooters become a transit option, I want to pass laws that will safeguard pedestrians and cyclists. Curiosity killed the cat: why have a 15mph speed limit for bikes and scooters, when cars can go 25mph and don’t get confiscated after speeding violations? Why do drivers get priority still?
