The majority of New Yorkers, who don't drive, are failed when your committee spends all of its time complaining about parking instead of how to fund and fix our failing mass transit and unsafe streets. Last night should be a wake up call that cars are unsustainable for NYC.
The Committee on Transportation spends a majority of our efforts on public transportation and on safety improvements for pedestrians and cyclists. I invite you to our next hearing and welcome you to submit public testimony if you cannot attend in person.
