The majority of your constituents, like myself, are not "twitter trolls", or are upset about #InwoodRezoning bc of Trump. We are sick of seeing ppl who live uptown continuing to suffer bc of #gentrification. This plan offers no protection for our community, your constituents.

I've lived in Washington Heights/ Inwood area for the past 20 years. I DO NOT SUPPORT THE
#InwoodRezoning. There other things we can do to deal with the housing problems, building more will only drive prices up and displace the already struggling residents. VOTE NO! -
Things to improve: 1.Hold landloards accountable and invest in improving the broken infrastructure 2.Punish landloards for discriminatory polices and not renting to low-income ppl/minorities 3. Secure housing for longterm and aging residents 4. Help small businesses stay open

Just do the right thing and support it. People confuse gentrification with new building. People will get priced out regardless if new capacity isn’t added.
