  1. Prikvačeni tweet

It’s impossible to overstate how critical winning the House will have been to saving our . Institutional political power matters. We control House committees & have subpoena power. Strong Dem leadership now has the tools to hold the Trump admin.

  2. As many people are pointing out, the irony of this tweet is that Satan *did,* in fact, quote scripture in the Bible (see: Matthew 4). Which, in a meta-move, would imply that Donald Trump Jr. is...not particularly familiar with scripture.

  3. Thank you for taking your oath seriously Mitt Romney.

Another excerpt: “People should know that the White House complex has a cadre of medical professionals on staff 24/7. Except for advanced medical imaging (CT/MRI) & surgery, the complex has it all. Yet there’s been three trips to Walter Reed. One publicized, two not. Why?”

I think we will lose about 100,000 votes if Bernie is NOT the nominee I think we lost more than 2,000,000 if he is. That is where I am coming from when I get trolled by Bernie supporters. A fractional candidate with diminished support doesn’t swing elections

Watching partisan Republicans lose their sh*t over 's refusal to put allegiance to one despotic man over his oath to the Constitution is a thing to behold. I'm NEVER going to agree w/Mitt on a MANY issues. But like McCain on ACA, this is meaningful.

  7. Doug swore an oath, Doug has studied the case exhaustively, and he has concluded that the evidence is sufficient to convict the President for both abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Now it's time to have his back.

  10. I grew up with a stutter. At tonight’s town hall, I was asked what advice I would give to those working to overcome their own — here’s what I said:

  11. As the president's impeachment trial began, Republican senators pledged an oath to defend the Constitution. Today, 52 of them voted to betray that oath—and all of us. We’re entering dangerous territory for our democracy. It’ll take all of us working together to restore it.

One Democratic narrative that died in Iowa: no matter how much money, no much matter hype, there is no "white working class" populist surge on the left. It does not exist. Will not exist. We should forget it. Look to the 2018 midterms, people. Look to amping POC turnout.

  16. The trial was a charade, and the vote is a disgrace. I have no doubt that historians will ultimately convict this President, along with the Republicans who lack the courage to do it themselves. But we cannot wait for history to render its verdict – that is our job in November.

  18. Today the Republican-controlled Senate failed to hold Trump accountable. This continues a shameful history of two systems of justice: one for powerful people like Trump and one for everyone else. No one should be above the law, not even the president of the United States.
