    This would be hilarious if there wasn't already a precedent for the UK stripping brown women of citizenship. It doesn't matter if you're a trafficked teenager or a princess, if you're brown and we don't like you, we'll exile you without a second thought.

    I said I was going to leave but was super polite to him. Said y’know, no hard feelings, get home safe, etc. but he pointed and shouted at me “NO! NO! YOU DO NOT GET TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT THIS!”

    He was so so white. And he actually said the n word! What’s more, he dismissed the defining Black cultural movement of the past 50 years and reduced it to its crudest components. So we spoke for a bit about how what he said was unacceptable. He was sorry but didn’t really get it.
