Yes, if a friend gets sick they should call a doctor. But then when the doctor tells them to take HCQ and Azzy you show up at their place right away instead of them waiting days for a pharmacy delivery or going to an overcrowded hospital. I'm not saying to pop pills like candy.

Wouldn't buying it now be the definition of hoarding? As opposed to it being prescribed once someone needs it? Or are you operating under the assumption that it won't be prescribed?

Some caveats on that study. 1) Not randomized. Controls were mix of people who opted out of the treatment and people who were at a different hospital. 2) 6 out of 26 treatment patients dropped out of the study. Including 5 w ~worst outcomes. . .

1 death. 3 transferred to ICU. 1 stopped treatment bc nausea. Nobody dropped from the control group. So comparing treatment group with worst outcomes taken out v entire control group.
