It's starting to feel like the right moment for change. Kind of like the gay marriage moment when the public finally came to it's senses and shifted rapidly in the correct direction.

I really admire BLM because they have never gotten a lot of good press or understanding from people, but they have never quit. They knew their cause was righteous and they have stuck with it.

it was slow on marriage equality, until it wasn't. call it a tipping point, call it a crowbar effect, call it herd mentality, but once an idea gains a certain amount of support, it becomes "acceptable" for a lot of people to join in.

There's a difference between the idea Black Lives Matter (of course they do) and the political organization of the same name. Odds are this is an indication of people supporting the first idea.

Good news, but terrible chart. Their labels make it look like it’s *opposition* that’s massively increased.
