3. For those suggesting Shep Smith...I cant say what he’ll do for sure in the future, but he would have to take a pay cut to work at MSNBC. He was getting $15 million a year at Fox News. I would be surprised if MSNBC would stretch their budget that much for him.

5. Sources close to Matthews bill this as mutual decision...which it is on paper. But he was told it was time to move on by NBC News management They didn’t want to deal with his inappropriate/offensive comments, gaffes, & more stories about his past conduct during election year
