You should never be embarrassed that you went to a community college. Community colleges are the backbone of our secondary education system.

CC students should be proud they made a practical decision to save $$$ and get typically terrific academic advisement. I say this as a 4-year university faculty member.

Our daughter got her requirements out of the way in community college and then went on to transfer to Berkeley. Graduated with her degree in English.
