    It rained CubeSats on the Farmington Canal Trail Tuesday. Students in Prof. Rebecca Kramer-Bottiglio’s Mechanical Design course tested the durability of their mini satellites by dropping them off the bridge on Hillhouse Avenue. Some fared better than others.

    Debuting the CCAM light sculpture! Working with the Center for Collaborative Arts and Media, ENAS 118 students built the 7.5-foot sculpture. Highlighting the teamwork between the CEID and CCAM, it features rotating letters with programmable LED patterns.

    Computer pioneer, naval officer, and Yale alumna Grace Hopper was born this day in 1906. Marking the occasion, the CEID held its annual Grace Hopper Birthday Bash, with help from the a capella group Pitches and Tones. Happy Birthday, Admiral Hopper!
