Discovery is a big part of the product building experience. It's part of the fun. I realize the safety of "perfect requirements", but even perfect requirements can't guarantee product or project success, just like "doing things right" doesn't mean we're "doing the right thing."

It comes from a good place ("I want to be able to do a good job") but is divorced from reality.
