one of the projects i work on, @nymproject has the goal of further developing and managing a decentralized, anonymized internet infrastructure - its just one such attempt at decentralizing the backbone of the internet for the decades ahead, but we are quickly running out of time

given the debate around twitter this week, the centralization of much of the infrastructure leaves it vulnerable to takeover and control by powerful state, corporate, and wealthy interests - we need to rethink how the core backbone and infrastructure of the internet works forward
