i feel angry - i feel afraid of even posting this tweet - many of us feel this way, but we can make this an awakening - now we can finally clear the air and start to dismantle the massive whirling death machine that crushes immigrants, people of color, trans/queer people

we can’t legislate our way out of this because the legislature is compromised - we can’t fund or empower the police state because the police apparatus is compromised - we can’t go back to business as usual because business as usual is compromising w/ fascism and white supremacy

the disproportionate way we responded to 9/11 and the underwhelming response to 1/6 says everything about the deep structural and institutional problems in our society - empowering the police/military/intel state for years has now come full circle

abolish the DMCA

point is they’ll see what they can get away with until there’s public scrutiny and pushback
