The new water simulation is online! It has complicated the code a bit and lowered the performance, but, I just made the pixels a bit bigger and called it a day hehehe.. Go check it out at this new URL: https://cells.gatunes.com/ Source is now on github: https://github.com/danielesteban/cells …pic.twitter.com/N1Suqkvw14

Daniel, this really looks awesome. Is there something I have to do enable the water? clay and sand works but not water.

I Just uploaded a new patch that no longer does hacky stuff with the alpha and at least it has fixed it for me on firefox. Can you please test it again on your setup?

Hey Daniel, here how it looks on Safari on macOS. It looks the same on my iPhone. It seems like the alpha isn't cleared properly or something.pic.twitter.com/5VWq2qcU4c

Thanks for this testing my dude! Safari being Safari haha.. Maybe the default canvas in safari is transparent instead of black. I just uploaded yet another patch that explicitly paints it black with full alpha at start. Let me know if that fixed it.

Think I found why. It seems it doesn't support disabling the alpha channel on the context (Which I was relying on). So it makes sense the initial image is transparent and not black as in chrome/firefox. https://caniuse.com/mdn-api_htmlcanvaselement_getcontext_2d_alpha_context …
