A miracle is just an event better than you could have imagined possible. Certain environments suppress miracles, but nothing can suppress them forever. Every experience which tells us - you do not know the heights of joy and salvation available to us.

Horror, of course, represents the opposing trend. The world contains things worse than you can imagine. The images of horror only resonant because they represent something possible. You have to grapple with horror, but best to do so with your feet rooted in faith and miracles.
