I am replying to your assertion about the necessity of belief, to state my disagreement. I don't think it's belief - people do things sometimes believing, and it doesn't work, and skeptics are sometimes surprised by uncanny occurrences.

There seems to be something that breaks through spontaneously (synchronicities, "miracles") - but also that can be made more frequent by accessing non-ordinary states of consciousness. I think there are mental processes other than belief at play - which we do not have words for

haha I've read it twice Recently I bought the whole series in print Planning to re-read it in a month or two with a lot better understanding of the concepts and fresh eyes I have lots of notes on Grant Morrison

For some reason, I never got as into his other stuff? But I consider the Invisibles to be peak comic book.
