his book was excellent but insane (did you read my review?) but his fans are passe and boring my tweet was referring to a very small clique of internet posters, and even then it was tongue-in-cheek, designed to provoke, and intentionally bordering on parody

I didn't read your review! His book had this strategic brilliance of mixing high philosophy with low trolling - so anyone who treats his ideas as real and dangerous is a square who doesn't get the joke.
