I think the point of no return for me re: anarchism was sitting in a first year IR class, and thinking to myself "Wow, if my neighbour were Joseph Stalin, I would really want my government to pursue nuclear armament fast." A creeping appreciation for Leviathan.
I am not very wedded to ideological labels or politics at all at this point. I definitely see the use of both states and markets, but also their failure modes.

Because of my work, I have to have some normative awareness about law and policy, and think about why I am doing what I do. But it is mostly a fun intellectual game for me now. I don't have the kind of power where I need to fret that my politics might be wrong.
