I've been on some real deep Wikipedia rabbit holes the last few hours doing research on mental risks of mucking with your perception.
I should really go play Animal Crossing.

It's so fascinating what you can do with a Roam instance + Wikipedia + drawing on a bunch of random sources you've read or remembered over the years and forming your own connections. The future is awesome.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychosis https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity … How do you know if you're talking to Isis or just schizophrenic? Seems like that matters a lot

So I ran into this problem with psychedelics, and my rule is that insights had in an altered state of consciousness should be compelling and coherent upon returning to normal. I have been less stringent in recent years as I learned to "have faith" in what the shrooms told me.

Yeah but I'm more concerned with infohazards that could trigger psychosis or schizophrenia outside of practice Seems like that could be a very real risk just by the given definitions that would even describe openness to these ideas as intro vectors to mental illness

The first rule of infohazards is to tell all your friends about the infohazard. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2521
