did some grocery shopping early this morning. the store is looking a lot more picked over then last time I went a few days ago. they've started restocking from new suppliers, brands I've never seen in this store before. all the workers are wearing masks and gloves.
I am getting Skip the Dishes until that stops working, then digging into my prep food. Not easy on the pocketbook, admittedly, but if things get really bad I'd rather have the saved food than the extra few hundred bux on my credit card.

seems unnecessary for my situation (and possibly yours too?) the local store is just having trouble keeping up with local demand. there is not actually a food shortage in the country. smaller stores have not sold out of anything. can still buy TP at corner stores no problem.

Even if I am not panicked about general shortages, I think it makes sense, tho. I went home sick yesterday, and am trying to limit my exposure to anyone for two weeks. Pretty sure I have enough to ride it out comfortably, but definitely don't want to do a grocery run.
