The idea is that we hold tight for six weeks or so while testing capacity is developed and reduce infections to something that can be monitored through contact tracing. People who talk doing this for 6-7 months are nuts I think. This won’t be sustainable for months on end.

I had assumed the idea was to buy time while we built up hospital/ventilator capacity in a war-time like push, which so far I don't see happening.
