Men are assaulted by strangers more than women are. I don't get the disparity, where women are much more scared of strangers than men are. It seems like either hysteria or a stiff upper lip, depending on which gender we wanna blame here
1. It's not irrelevant in assessing the severity of an attack. 2. It's not irrelevant in assessing who is a potential attacker. I am not generally worried that a woman will try and knock me out or stab me just to prove a point.
