    MacBook Pro (Catalina) over AirPlay -> AppleTV -> HDMI in and MB Air (Mojave) HDMI (direct) both report "the screen cannot be captured due to copyright restrictions" on Flip WM55H 4K (no DRM movie, my desktop) Anyone knowing if is the cause? Trick?

    Just tested a chat/conference call with Talk. Video quality was bad on the partner side because my upload bandwidth is low. His video was perfect though. Switched off wifi, forced 4G, oddly this was the other way around :) but all in all works fine and on my servers!

    Just got an invitation with a 7.5 MB PDF flyer, all vectorial, which should have logically been not more than, be fair, 70-150 KB. Sent to 23 persons, who are supposed to forward to around 35 each. I now use green awareness to show what it means in CO2, to awake people w/ emails.

    Status: upgraded not-so-old Thecus NAS w/ much more RAM, wiped everything, installed Ubuntu 18 LTS in RAID1 on 4 parts on 4 GB disks w/ mdadm (thx for hints), created ZFS pool in RAID10 to get around 7 TB of data space for , tricked installer w/ this custom env

    So somehow chose to forget everything I put in it for many years! Fortunately nothing vital and used less and less over the years because of their change of policy quite some time ago. Time to say goodbye for good and erase it altogether from my devices!

    Thanks aka for probably the last joke of 2019! My chosen new password is not secure enough... Well... 🤨 fortunately basic dev skills let me discover a password is supposed to be no more than 20 chars. Good to know when using a password manager!

    Just made my sister buy a universal license of so that she could recover her iTunes library out of her iPhone to her new laptop (old has somehow crashed and could still not be accessed anymore due to encryption, and naturally no backup :/). She looks really happy!

    Why is client not interpreting back ticks anymore when I paste some message I prepared outside? That's really uncool! I liked preparing everything with single or triple back ticks in an external editor!
