Fp.js is arguably the most widely known fingerprinting vendor. When uniquely identifiable information is collected you cannot argue that it is not used for tracking. It clearly has the potential to be used as a cross-site tracking vector. twitter.com/realhamed/stat

It's difficult to use fingerprinting for tracking nowadays. With all the recent changes in the browsers, most attributes don't have entropy if you compute it at scale, i.e. not on small datasets as most academic studies do.

I'm curious, you are able to uniquely identify (over time) the same browser with fpjs2 ? Or are you using other attributes that are more "aggressive" in term of CPU?
