And on the subject of standards. Could we all agree to use standard units instead of using feet, inches, armpits, stones and pebbles to measure things? (And what stone is it? How big is this stone?)

My GF grew up using imperial units. Despite being annoyed at my constant complains over the years she's gradually starting to see how much easier and sense makes to use g/kg and m/cm. Just think about the height in feet/inches. Meters make so much more mathematical sense.
