    The burgeoning acceptability of sweeping generalizations about groups—racial, gender, partisan, ideological—make it increasingly hard to pinpoint the precise claims that even really smart, insightful people want to make.

    Also every white guy currently explaining the (extremely real) villainy of white women to me can take a seat until they’ve come to collect Joe Manchin, almost all of the Republican Party, and the vastest share of Trump’s base.

    My favorite thing about this tweet is the follow-up viral reply, where he plugs his father’s (business) twitter account. You get one shot and you use it promote your parent’s business. Much respect and love to this kid ❤️

    I got a notification saying my Lyft Driver was deaf and to text him anything I needed to say. So I texted him saying thank you for picking me up. This man turned around to me and said “No problem bro. You can talk to me. I just say that Im deaf so my passengers don’t talk to me”

    Bigger, long-term change is needed to solve this completely, but women can start correcting this now by asking for more equity at the offer stage.

    3/ Women hold just 9% of employee and founder equity value. Men own 91%. Let that sink in. Let’s break it down: Women make up 13% of founders, but capture just 6% of founder equity value. Women make up 35% of employees, but hold just 20% of employee equity value.
