1.2 billion Africans live in abject poverty. By your own metrics we are responsible for each and every one of them. Hmmm you see these impossible standards that you liberals have, will eventually come back to haunt us all.

Have you any idea how little number of asylum seekers Ireland is taking? How do you limit the number of legal immigration? By race, color and religion? If China say we want less Irish, more Americans, how do you react?

That's up to China. Our asylum seeking process doesn't even attempt to prepare people for eventual repatriation. As a nation with severe housing and financial issues immigration of any type right now is damaging. Although you are right asylum seekers shouldn't be a problem.

There are many sides causing housing issues. If the regulations control the price at the first place, it wouldn't be as bad. Plus houses mostly owned by Irish natives and Irish companies. In Dublin so so many houses owned by giga companies, they're most responsible for the prices

Our government are useless. But basic economics: Higher demand = less supply This will drive up the prices, this is not the fault of a person coming here looking for work. It's the governments fault for allowing so much migration when they know our available supply is low.

Could you elaborate how to limit the number of legal immigration?

We are a tiny country, mainly rural. It should be kept that way. We should have a yearly limit, that takes into account the supply and the demand of all essential services If there is an excess supply then we can use that as a basis to generate a fair number for immigration.

No I didn't say that Are you saying my disabled sister who is on a housing list has to wait 13 years for a 1 bed apartment even though she has worked here all her life? We have a limit, it has clearly not worked of late Letting anyone and everyone in without considering supply

Social housing has nothing to do with limited rental supplies... It's simply because they were not being built.
