Looks like a few different types of footballs are used. No official XFL ball yet but I am curious about that design on both ends of the ball.

Maybe the XLab is testing new designs and new technology for the ball. Also maybe have the ball be a light reddish color, to let it pop out on screen and in the stadium. It doesn't have to be the color of the whole football, just enough to be eye catching.
