Unique concept. The league is trying to find a way to give both teams a shot to win a game in overtime. They are also trying to do it quickly. It’s basically an evolved version of college overtime.

Luv it! Less wasted time and more Mano-a-Mano action to secure the victory.

I don’t love it. But I’m willing to see it in action before I say it’s a bad idea. And also, bring a team to San Antonio... like right now!pic.twitter.com/g7Uz0caJ7S

Come to San Antonio

I have a good feeling they might expand as well. San Antonio had a huge AAF following.

I like the concept. It’s very fair. Both teams get a chance to win. You don’t risk the safety of the players by playing 5 or 6 quarters. No coin toss or kicker deciding a winner. Quick resolution to a tie.

It's just like soccer's penalty kicks format. OT is five innings. The team that has the most end zone scores out of five is the winner. I like the AAF's OT format the best.

The difference is. Both teams get a fair shot to win. No coin toss or kicker determining the game. Plus unlike soccer. It still stays as an offense vs defense 11 on 11 game. No a scorer vs goalie situation
