I'd get rid of the preseason entirely.

Yes I agree. Why have them if a loss or a win doesn't matter. Plus better for the players. If the player gets hurt in the preseason, then that ruins there chance playing in the regular season.

Jamboree style pre-season! 4 teams, one stadium. Two games at once on either half. 5 possessions per team in the match up. Rotate teams after last possession.

Don't start immediately after the other league's Big Game. Give everybody a few weeks to start missing football before giving us more.
