YouTube is infact broken. Notifications are not working. And people are getting recommended videos that are two months to two years old.
Youtubers are experiencing a 20% to 30% loss in views.

I wouldn't be surprised if the community got YouTube to setup a monthly "town hall meeting" where content creators got to express ideas and opinions. It's honestly not a bad idea.

Because people say shit like that, YouTube continues to go downhill and YouTube will slowly lose the people that make them money. And this is exactly why we need it. It's worth trying. Whether it works or not, everyone will know that we at least tried and didn't just sit there.

But it's on them to execute, and they've shown for the last five years that they're only interested in executing ideas that favor their commercial growth and bottom dollar. Sorry, but after watching the platform sell-out for nearly a decade, I've taken the cynical view.

No shit that the content creators would only execute what is needed so they could grow because YouTube is their job. And if you just think about it, if they don't do well, YouTube won't do well. YouTube puts many ADs on videos but who do you think put those videos on YouTube?

Content creators have spent forever trying to change certain things and YouTube has done the complete opposite but we've gone this far and it'd be pointless to not try and reach further.
