@TeamYouTube, every response I've seen says this change is a bad idea. Please don't do it. Make the real number only available to the creator won't help with stress or anything. It's just screwing over sites like@SocialBlade.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

You say this change is to help with the stress of the creator. Then what's the point of making it so only they can see the number? It seems like it'll only make the stress worse, because only they have the knowledge of how big their fanbase truly is.

Plus now, no creator will be able to make subscriber countdown celebrations. Like a livestream or something counting down to 1 million. The audience loves that kind of stuff. Now to them, it'll just happen with no fanfare whatsoever, killing the hype and celebrate a ton.

@TeamYouTube, please reconsider this change. It's unnecessary and only hurts everyone involved. This will not help with stress (in fact it may worsen it), it may even stunt channel growth by a ton, & it takes the celebration away from hitting a milestone by a ton.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
But we all know you won't listen. You rarely listen to public feedback. It's been shown time and time again. You'll do something great that we've been wanting for a long time now, but them immediately backtrack with 18 things we don't want, no one asked for, & only hurts the site
