Kavanaugh was an exception for obvious reasons, but I agree about Gorsuch 100%. It boggles my mind that only 3 Democratic senators voted to confirm him while 9 Republicans voted in favor of Sotomayor.

Well... Gorsuch stole Garland's seat... and Kavanaugh had a credible sexual assault claim against him... so.......

If Garland had gotten the seat in 2016, I think Gorsuch would have been accepted by most for the next seat. Then Barrett would have gotten a fair look in 2020 because the norms wouldn't have been broken in 2016. And Kavanaugh wouldn't have a seat, as it should be.
