Even if everyone tells me "ah, they're bad! leave them!!" or "you're better off without such a person!", my stubborn self would still...go against them all & stay, even just lowkey.

If I have reason to believe that you genuinely wanna make up for your mistakes, I would never give up on you & still strive to push you to be a better person, even against everyone's advice. THAT is the kind of mindset I still have.

Though of course, that could easily backfire as well....ahah;;;; but, that still doesn't stop me from trying.

It also still depends on the person, though, and how bad their mistake was.. This is usually for people who never did anything wrong to me directly. If it was done to me personally, given how (ironically????) resentful I am, well...it um. might be a lil different. haha

But still! Either way!! I can be friends with people separately, y'know. Just cuz I'm friends with you & friends with someone who did you wrong doesn't mean I'm siding with them or vice versa or whatever. Idk if that makes sense, but..

What I mean is that while I acknowledge that someone did something wrong, I also acknowledge that they're human, they make mistakes, and you can't label someone as totally "bad" without giving them a chance to grow & make up for it..

((inb4 "lol sure, this coming from someone so vindictive??" ya well this doesn't apply to people i don't know/care about so there))

I dunno if that person who these tweets are inspired by will ever read this & make the connection that it's lowkey about them, but..uh I give you the benefit of the doubt. I trust that you've somehow owned up to it & bettered yourself. I don't think...you're /that/ horrible...

I've been thinking about this for a long time (like everytime it happens), and it took a while to muster up the courage to say these stuff bc some people may call me a traitor or whatever, for "siding up with the enemy"..

I'm not. I'm simply giving them a chance to prove they can be better. People change. I don't think...one big mistake should define a person for the rest of their life...
