First guess: A 32/64 bit DLL mismtach ? i.e. cant load the plugin file cause your OBS may have 32-> 64 bit ? Best to save your layouts, uninstall cleanly, and install OBS Studio with browser plugin to CLEAN and different install directory
In OBS Studio it's no longer called the CLR browser. When you run the OBS Studio installer, it asks if you want to install the browser source (make sure you get the full installer). Once installed, it's labelled "Browser" in the source list.
