I’ve been becoming more and more aware of when no gender is given for a situation, people default to “he/him” SUPER prevalent in gaming. “He’s going DT.” “Oh he dropped his anchor.” “Man he’s got good aim.” I try to use they/them but now noticing this in others... jarring.

This was more about non-commentating. People playing games on discord and describing their opponent.
It applies in everything, i do same thing about my barcode opponents on ladder. It's a bad habit which we should try to break as gaming stops being so male dominated
