Wee bit old now, but it's weird they're making a sequel to Sicario, it's weirder that it doesn't involve Villeneuve and it's incredibly fucking weird it seems to posit that Brolin and Del Toro weren't very bad people.
I watched the first on a plane but just remember it being kinda meh. Heard ppl really liked it?

Well, yeah, Denis Villeneuve is a critical darling atm, Sicario did quite well I believe. It's just very jarring to see the trailer for Sicario 2 and see it glorifying the two villains of the first in an action thriller romp. Did nobody there watch the first fucking movie?
