also you save minerals that can go to an expand or slam out speed zealots in small hit squads. not sure how it would scale to lategame
It gets there faster if you can hide it most zergs will still get spores/overseer. Sick meta move

Sure you save minerals, but you don't actually need minerals early game. The dt cost balances your econ much nicer.

You do sometimes see high templar used in archon drops that hit much later in the game though :)
