What's a non intrusive, easy to use and free antivirus people use these days? Just use the built in microsoft defender thing ok?

Had professors in college (for computers) that recommended only using that. My dad uses Norton and it slows down his PC so much.

yep, I've been using Windows Defender for AV for realtime and Malware Bytes to do scans, never had any issues in 5+ years

malware bytes has been defending me since the era of limewire Trojans <3

+1 even tho I only install & run malware bytes if I'm sure I need to. Windows defender does just fine for all else
