splitting vods doesn't work because the sequels won't show up as next video consistently hence massive dropoff in views

Could you attach a post-script scene with links to the next video + a relevant other daily?

Depending on the software you use, you maybe able to make a macro which auto adds a post clip scene then use YT to link.
