Firstly- hey, you write really well. Loved it. Second- have you read much of the stoics?
ty mate! I have read literally none, though I've heard many summaries and retellings of its principles from people I really respect and I've loved what I've heard. I'm planning to start with Marcus Aurelius, what else would you recommend?

Aurelius is cool. I also quite enjoyed seneca. Look, it's not without issues, but I think as a general ethos, we could all do with a bit of stoicism in our lives.

Yeah zealotry to it isn't what I'd look for but I've already utilised negative visualisation a bunch and loved it, keen to see what else there is to it
