sounds like you encountered either a Singaporean or a Malaysian. they do have pretty thick chinese accent even in their english and can sound pretty rude. their swear words is mostly chinese though.
Sounded more cambodian/laos to me. But it was just a special guy in his own reality i think :) definitely not reflective of wherever he's from originally
