@x5_PiG how would you feel about a "hold fire" command for High Templar? I personally disliked the autoattack but understand why its a thing, but I would like the option for them to not do it.

Because if lings on attack move run into a zealot and a HT and the HT is closer, they hit the HT instead of the zealot. The aggro created by the attack makes HTs more vulnerable when on guard at bases. If the HT instead runs from the lings and the zealot engages, aggro changes.
i think as long as the unit has an attack available the aggro is the sam? like ghosts on hold fire are still just as targetted as those who are firing right?

Far as I know it works the same as microing back a unit that is already engaged. it stops attacking long enough to shift the combat ai's focus. If a ghost is on holdfire and its standing next to a marine the marine is going to take the aggro before the ghost will.
