Multiple times down to 2 days on the loss timer. Peak tension was when I had to break an alien facility or lose - Chosen Hunter downed 2 of my squad and I had to YOLO dive through a pod including a sectopod to plant the X4. Somehow got it just barely and held on

I also enjoyed WOTC a lot, not a big fan of Longwar mod.
A combo of seeing geoff play it and my brother talking a lot over the years about how good the original games and EU were. I didn't find the time to get into LW, though I'd like to one day. WOTC seemed like a nice middle ground where it adds depth without being as complex

oh lol that was alarak? I didn't even realise LUL. I noticed there were a lot of Startrek actors though - also realised the speaker guy seems to be a Trill if you ever watched DS9 lol
