Occasionally I see some Korean Zergs doing this also. Interested to hear the logic of it

It is for the extra vision to scout the hidden packs of lings/banes, since u really dont want one of your first 5-6 overlords to go there. And the queen in the mineral line with good drone micro should be just as good as in the pool-hatch gap versus ling runbys.

Can you not just make the baneling nest there then and get the best of both worlds?
