Thats true I guess. Was for me mostly while thinking about WCS Valencia where I'll have exams the week after xD But you're right, the most expensive is usually the flight anyways and just 1 more day hotel wouldn't cost the world, might be even cheaper as it is post-event.
I'm probably gonna do that if I can manage to go to Montreal somehow xD
