Nothing at the distro level is going to make people migrate from Windows. Only an effective or superior Office Suite (as compared to MS Office) can make that migration possible.
There already is one - Libre Office. It's not made any difference. This is not because alternative equivalent software is not available. It's because: 1. Proprietary software lock data into proprietary formats 2. No one on Windows wants to seriously make an effort to move away
That is my point. Libre Office is miles behind MS Office from a user's perspective. For point 2., there has to be something superior in the product to move away. Linux distros may perhaps be better than Windows (doubt it with Win10), but office and other s/w just not good enough
That's exactly what I meant when I said that Windows users don't really want to make any kind of half serious effort to move away from Windows.
Have been using Ubuntu and LM for years now. Instead of blaming the users for their alleged lack of seriousness, why not create something which is irresistible? People will shift. But sadly, doesn't happen enough in the open source world.
Maybe you should save your bull for the Windows fan page.
