I'm amazed that this happened to us at Disney World. How would they let a place that unapologetically uses 50s-era sexist language (the waiter threw dishes at the table and told one of the women at the table "darling, set the table") exist *here*

Jesus wtf. I hope that guy is just new on the job and taking the "role" way too seriously. Mama Rosa's is also nice, and child friendly.
-
Judging from the manager's reaction, the guy was probably just doing too convincing a job at the thing he was trained to do. This fish definitely rots from the head
(though, conversely, what kind of person signs up for this *particular* job? Could be related, dunno.) -
I've heard that you don't get to pick your assignment at Disney World, but I figure "I'd like to work somewhere else because I don't like berating customers" would rank as a pretty compelling reason for a transfer at Disney World.

I'm guessing a lot of patrons enjoy the shtick, but at the same time, in this day and age, I'd be surprised if that restaurant survives much longer.
-
I really really hope that's true.
